Michael Douglas guide · Media kit
Since One Helluva Ride came out on October 6, 2026, collectors have sent AutographCOA 129 copies they bought as signed. The majority did not pass. Every copy that failed carries one of two signature styles, and in our authenticators' opinion neither is Michael Douglas's.
Free to use in coverage with the credit "Image: AutographCOA". Every photo is a real customer submission, shown whole and never retouched. Each image has a caption you can paste.

One signature per image, labelled, from the original upload.

"Fans who bought signed copies of Michael Douglas's memoir have sent 129 of them to ACOA for review. Based on what we've seen, our authenticators are extremely confident that the majority of signed copies on retail shelves right now are not genuinely signed by him."

What we found. Both fake styles show unusually high formational consistency, and all of the fake signatures contain multiple formational factors that do not occur within Michael Douglas's normal signature range.
Our findings are AutographCOA's professional opinion of each signature, formed from photographs by our authentication team.
